Once Upon A Time

In 1978, newlyweds Don and Molly Proffer started Proffer Productions in the upstairs of their house. Molly continued her job as an advertising account executive while Don took on the production of a national sales meeting for Puritan Bennett Corporation. Then in 1980, Molly joined the company full time, and the office moved from Brookside to downtown Kansas City.

Over three decades later, Proffer Productions has survived technological transformation, recessions and bubbles, and the birth and rearing of three children. The Proffers have played leadership roles in the community and have contributed to multiple nonprofits through extensive pro bono work. Quality of life is a priority for the Proffers and their employees, and they are pleased to be able to contribute personally and professionally to the quality of life of others.
